Psicologia e DisabilitĂ  Visiva

Una risorsa per le persone ipovedenti e non vedenti

organizzato dall’ Associazione Toscana Retinopatici e Ipovedenti Onlus in collaborazione con il Cesvot e il Coordinamento Toscano dei Gruppi di Auto Aiuto e con il Patrocinio della Regione Toscana, della Provincia di Firenze e di Retina Italia Onlus.

Il Convegno vuole essere soprattutto un momento di presentazione di esperienze, di confronto e di riflessione sulle implicazioni e sui problemi psicologici derivanti dalle minorazioni visive.

L'A.R.I.S. (Associazione dei Retinopatici ed Ipovedenti Siciliani) organizza, d’intesa con il Centro Regionale Trapianti e l’Az. Osp. Villa Sofia Cervello, il convegno nazionale “Donazione e Trapianto di cornee” che si terrà l'11 novembre 2010 presso l’Aula M. Vignola, presso l’Azienda V. Cervello, via Trabucco 180, Palermo.

L’evento ha ottenuto i crediti ECM dal Ministreo della Salute per : medici, psicologi e infermieri professionali.

La partecipazione al convegno è gratuita.

It was concluded in Stresa sixteenth Retina Retina International World Congress organized by Italy Onlus.

In two days have alternated in the various rooms of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Stresa over forty speakers from research laboratories around the world who have shared with other doctors and researchers with patients and their families the results of the latest research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of these diseases
In breaking news presented Sunday afternoon at the conclusion of Prof. Ghidoni presented the results of his research on 'effective in stopping Miriocina hereditary retinal degeneration.
But certainly the most innovative news was given by prof. Roska has shown that, at present only in mice, the insertion of residues that appeared degenerated photoreceptors, protein reagents in the light-rhodopsin and called channels normally present in bacteria and algae, has helped to make reactive to light a retina no longer functioning. The research was published in the latest issue of the prestigious journal Science on 24 June 2010, just two days before the congress. The 16th Retina International World Congress will take place in Italy, in the beautiful scenery of Lake Maggiore.
